"In a press release today Valve uncovered the first add-on for Left 4 Dead 2, The Passing,where players will meet up with the original cast from the first Left 4Dead. In addition to the filled-out cast, The Passing will also bring a wealth of new gameplay with new weapons, an uncommon common zombie, a new co-op challenge mode and new arenas for Survival, Versus and Scavenge modes. The Passing is set for an early 2010 release for the PCand Xbox 360. Price is to be announced."

Meeting the good ol' survivors of the first L4D is already awesome enough, but I think we'll be seeing a slew of new additions and gameplay too. Way to tease in the crowd warming into Left 4 Dead 2. Anyone else excited?
